A.O.R – Artificial Optical Radiation

Industrial processes such as welding, glassworks, paint drying ovens, foundries; medical equipment such as lasers, neonatal phototherapy lamps, sterilisation, surgical lights as well as screens, scanners in workplaces.

All these are sources of artificial optical radiation known as A.O.R. The AORs have a wavelength between 100 nm and 1 mm and include the field of visible optical radiation, as well as ultraviolet (UVA, UVB and UVC) and infrared (IR).

According to European regulations, workers’ exposure to risks from these light sources must be strictly measured and controlled. HD2402 is the instrument that allows employers to assess, measure and calculate levels of exposure to artificial optical radiations.

Easy to use, HD2402 is a portable photo-radiometer datalogger equipped with a set of sensors covering different spectral portions and a small laser to indicate the source being analysed.
