Cup Anemometer

Robust, cheaper than ultrasonic, easy to install. If the need is to measure only horizontal wind speed, cup anemometers are the most suitable instruments.

The three hemispherical cups of which it is composed are designed to respond identically to winds coming from different directions within the horizontal plane.

In the case of the cup anemometer, a wide range of selectable outputs make it compatible with a wide variety of data acquisition systems. This type of anemometer can be calibrated from 1 m/s in the tunnel with a 600 mm working section wind gallery.
