Hot wire anemometers

Hot wire anemometers

There are different techniques for measuring air speed and each is best suited for specific situations and applications. When it comes to measuring air speed in the presence of turbulence or non-stationary flows, such as inside ducts or pipelines, the most suitable technique is the hot wire. The probes generally have small dimensions and can be equipped with telescopic rods that allow them to reach even the most distant points in the channels.

This type of anemometer can be calibrated from 0.1 m/s.

For the measurement of air speed with hot-wire probes, Delta OHM has both transmitters and anemometer-thermometers to which the AP471… series probes can be connected.
